UNC makes final five list of former Kentucky wing Adou Thiero
Former Kentucky wing Adou Thiero is considering following Coach John Calipari to Arkansas, but UNC is also in his final five. The projected first-round pick in the 2025 NBA draft is considering Arkansas, UNC, Pittsburgh, Kentucky and Indiana. Thiero has two seasons of remaining eligibility after averaging 5.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in two seasons at Kentucky. (Tar Heel Tribune)

UNC Basketball Pursuing Kentucky Transfer Adou Thiero
UNC has kept an eye on Adou Thiero since the Kentucky forward entered the transfer portal three weeks ago. Now the Tar Heels are in full pursuit. During multiple conversations recently, the UNC staff has conveyed to Thiero and his family the aim to land the 6-foot-8 sophom*ore regardless of offseason decisions by players on UNC's current roster. Basketball Portal Intel: Latest Info on Transfers With Confirmed UNC Contact

Cade Tyson to visit UNC basketball program
The North Carolina basketball program showed interest in Belmont forward Cade Tyson recently and things have moved forward to the point where the talented player will now take a visit to Chapel Hill. Per Inside Carolina, Tyson will be on North Carolina’s campus this weekend for his official visit as his new recruitment in the transfer portal continues on. (USA Today)

Rutgers basketball transfer Cliff Omoruyi includes UNC among 12 finalists
UNC is among the final 12 schools being considered by Rutgers transfer center Cliff Omoruyi, whose list also includes UCLA, Kansas State, Georgia Tech, Georgetown, Baylor, Alabama, Oregon, Washington, Georgia, St. John’s and Mississippi State.
